Christian Home Educator's Association of California (CHEA)
A statewide Christian support organization for home schoolers. CHEA organizes two home school conventions, Bay Area Convention/Spring and State Convention/July (Southern California). Membership includes a 10% discount on CHEA convention fees and materials and subscription to "The Parent Educator" magazine.

Speech and Debate:
Communicators for Christ - Information on conference schedules, books, and educational 

The Christian Debater  - Web magazine for those interested and involved in debate.

Government:
Student Government Affairs Program - The program provides monthly newsletters that highlight issues currently being debated in Congress. Throughout the year, the student also receives biographies of government officials, historical documents and keys to citizenship. Supplements also provide a congressional directory, voting records and information on the Cabinet Departments and their responsibilities. There is also a research web site that can be accessed. Home Crusader - Good Christian Web site with educational links, family topics and support.

The Homeschoolers' Helper lists links to various web sites that offer free help in many subjects ranging from art to math to science. Next to each link is a short description of the site (new sites have recently been added). As always, we recommend that parents check out any unfamiliar web site before allowing their children access.
